Trip Ke Hong Kong - 4th Day

12th April, 2014

Today we went to Islamic Centre Canteen which I found in the internet when I was looking for halal food in Hong Kong. Katanya, selain dari halal, dim sum kat sini sangat sedap. So pagi around 9.00am me and my husband went to the MTR (macam our MRT kat KL, but this MTR so far bawah tanah je, tak tau la kalau train nie pegi lain destination) which was just next to our hotel. We went to the information counter and were told to buy the ticket. Lepas beli ticket, husband I tanya lagi kat information counter. Orang tu cakap kena naik kat platform 2. Mana la tau apa platform 2 and furthermore, there's a lot of colours and line. So we asked a few peoples around. Kebanyakkanya tak paham apa yang kita orang cakap. Oh, my not another Bangkok. But we were lucky when one guy were kind enough to help us. Dia suruh ikut dia ke train and then dia explained suruh kita orang naik Tsim Sha Tsui and then interchange Admiralty and one stop to Wan Chai. Sampai Wan Chai, kita orang tanya a few people's around macam mana nak ke Islamic Centre. Canteen We showed them the address and macam kat MTR, semua tak tau and kebanyakkannya bukan orang Hong Kong but again we were lucky because one guy came to our rescue, although english dia tak bagus tapi boleh paham jugak, kita orang guna bahasa isyarat tangan hehe.. Dia suruh ikut dia berpandukan map kat handphone dia, jauh jugak la nak berjalan. Dalam hati I cakap, janganlah laki nie bawak pegi lorong mana, acah pisau and demand money sebab terang-teranglah kita orang nie touriset dengan camera tergantung kat tengkuk. I cakap kat husband I, why don't kita ajak dia makan sekali since dia dah tolong cari tempat. Husband I kata, tak payahlah. About ten minutes later orang tu cakap, suruh masuk simpang sana and we said thank you.

Kita orang pun jalan aimlessly sebab still not sure which way to turn but I cakap kat husband I, jalan aje, don’t worry. Tak lama kemudian I nampak ada macam hiasan tingkap colour green. I'm very sure this must be the one sebab green kan associate dengan islam. Lets go to that building. Dari jauh both of us nampak nama Masjid Ammar and Osman Ramju Sadick Islamic Centre. Masuk kat dalam, ada a few people, bertudung macam muka orang melayu bediri kat dalam. Husband I tanya dalam bahasa melayu, perempuan tu tak paham. Bila tanya dalam english baru dorang paham. Husband I cakap kat I, ingat melayu macam muka melayu, I kata mesti orang Myanmar or Indon nih. Perempuan tu kata restaurant kat tingkat lima and bukak pukul 10.00am. Kita orang sampai awal dalam pukul 9.30am but we decided to naik je sebab I nak duduk. Sampai tingkat lima on my right, tukang masak tengah sibuk masak and menyediakan makanan and on my right were the restaurant. Masuk kat dalam restaurant tak ada orang and one of pekerja/tukang masak cakap open at 10.00am, kita orang kata ok. Tak lama kemudian, orang pun mula datang, tapi tak ramai three tables plus us, maybe because it was still early in the morning.

(Bukan main lagi control fork and spoon)

(Nie je yang kita orang makan, sikit kan... tak banyak choice)

Ingat dorang datang hidang, kita orang tunggu la jugak then bila tengok pelanggan datang sendiri ke counter, barulah tau rupanya kena ambik sendiri. I pegi kat counter, I tengok tak banyak variety, so I tunjukkan orang tu kat gambar of which one that we want. Kita orang tak ambik banyak sebab takut tak abis and kalau ndak boleh ambik lagi furthermore dah ada peringatan kat situ cakap, don’t waste. Like I said, kat review kata sedap but pada I kat sini kureng, lain orang lain la taste bud nya kan. Limited choice. Dalam kureng and tak sedap tu, habis jua ku sental sebab nanti lapar and bukan senang nak cari makanan halal bila tengah jalan-jalan kat tempat non muslim country nie unless you are in the area where they serve those kind of food. Anyway, jangan ingat just because makanan ini datang dari negara tersebut, kita ingat sedap but then again kita Malaysia nie makanannya memang macam-macam rasa dan enak belaka, it was because of the pertembungan cultures and all. Waaaaa…. Nak balik KL….. Oh, sambil makan tu sempat lagi I mengarahkan photographer pinggiran itu untuk mengambil gambar I yang kekonon buat spontan, padahal…haha...

(Anak dara siapa la tu yang terlepas eh..hehe...)

Lepas makan, we went to The Peak, the main reason why I come to Hong Kong. I want to go there because it was one of my dream destination and my wish list to do. The Peak is always associated with Hong Kong and it is one of their main attraction and landmark. Oh, I sungguh tidak sabar. We went there by taxi. Then bila taxi driver stop kat tengah-tengah bandar, I tanya dia balik, are you sure this is the place? Dia kata yes, queue kat sini. The thing is I ingat, tempat nie tepi bukit memandangkan kena naik atas bukit. Indeed it was one of my dream destinations but I didn’t actually google or really checking/reading the place out because I want it to be a surprise when I go there. Same goes macam my other dream destination nak pegi ke The Parthenon, Greece. I don’t want to read about it and kalau tengok gambar pun just a glance sebab bila I pegi situ barulah I akan baca and at the same time admiring the place. I want it to be a surprise and that I akan ohh…and ahh…and perasan sorang-sorang that I was on that era. Get what I mean? I tak tau macam mana nak explained lagi hahaha.. Anyway, I rasa ragu-ragu but I saw dah ada line up. Turun aje I dengan husband I terus pegi line up jugak and sempat la I tanya one lady with two kids, betul ke ini tempat nak naik tram, dia kata dia pun not sure sebab it was her first time too, dengan slang berabuknya itu, dalam hati I wah! Dalam queue tu sempat lagi I memberi pose-pose kencang wakaka… Lama la jugak queue sebab orang ramai, weather pulak tersangatlah panasnya. Not only that dengan cina-cina yang ber ching chau non-stop kat belakang I..alahai, bising nak mampus.. rasa macam nak maki je, kang tak pasal-pasal I kena baling kat track la pulakkan.. Tapi I tell you dorang nie memang kuat memekak, berborak biasa pun macam nak berbunuh aje, non-stop pulak tu. Itu belum lagi I nak cerita part dorang main lalu and redah je bila kita tengah nak snap gambar. Kena banyak besabar dengan dorang nie.

Anyway, sebenarnya tak la lama mana menunggu tram sebab every 10 minutes tram dah sampai ke station tapi disebabkan ramainya manusia, weekend pulak tu, makanya penantian menjadi satu penyeksaan, (wah!). Bila tram sampai dorang nie termasuk la mat salleh sekali berebut macam nak gila, berhimpit and tolak-tolak, tak civilized langsung, I jadi malu tengok perangai-perangai dorang nie. I dengan bahasa melayunya cakap, you, tengok lah dorang nie, dengan muka berkerutnya, ngomel la konon makcik iban nie kan. I don’t care kalau dorang paham ke tak but I’m sure they don’t, berani la konon eh.. Sampai kat atas, wah.. the place look so nice, ada shopping complex and kedai jual souvenir and also ada Madame Tussauds. Since we thought we don’t want to go, so tak beli ticket ke situ masa kat bawah tadi but husband I tiba-tiba ajak I masuk. I kata, eh’ patutnya beli ticket Madame Tussauds plus tram ticket masa kat bawah tadi and I’m sure ada discount. Husband I kata, tak apa la, kat atas nie pun sama harga. I tanya lagi sure ke nak masuk. Husband I kata yes. Husband I nie unexpected la sometime. I pun kata ok la sebab I tak ada intention nak masuk but that doesn’t mean I tak nak masuk kalau ada peluang haha. On the way nak masuk tu, we decided to take the photo with patung Jackie Chan by the professional photographer kat dalam tu. Then kita orang pun meneruskan pengembaraan bertemu patung-patung ini. I don’t expect much sebab I pernah masuk Madame Tussauds London and furthermore life size patung-patung celebrity and personality je, konon… tapi I la yang bukan main lagi sibuk bagi pose-pose video clip “kau kunci cintaku di dalam hatimu” – steady kat melah.

(Tiap kali tengok episode Winter Sonata, pasti airmata I mengalir...sempat la jugak ambik gambar dengan heronya)

Dalam pada photographer jadi jadian I mengambil gambar bidadarinya ini, ada la jugak adegan merajuk tak puas hati dari I.. hahaha.. I know, I’m too much la…. You tau, bila dia lepas ambik gambar mesti I nak tengok kat screen. Bila tak terang, mula la I tunjuk perasaan . Muka masam, mulut muncung and siap marah jeling-jeling lagi husband I. I punya la tak puas hati I terus lalu kat belakang mamat yang tengah ambik gambar bini dia yang bertudung itu. Mula-mula I ingat Malaysian, rupa-rupanya Indonesian. So anway, masa I lalu belakang dia, tiba-tiba dia undur ke belakang and tak semena-mena melanggar belakang I, dia cakap Ya Rabi, cepat-cepat dia mintak maaf, I kata tak apa and terus jalan cepat-cepat. But I tell you sakit nak mampus, lepas tu tangan kanan I bengkak. I’m very sure sebab I marah-marah buat perangai kat husband I. I kan selalu dapat “cash” on the spot. Padan muka I. I pun mengadu la kat husband I lepas tu (dia jugak yang ku cari bila di timpa malapetaka dan dia jugak yang ku singa in). Husband I cakap kenapa tak bagitau dia awal-awal tadi, biar dia bantai laki tu cewah..dengan muka pak guard pencennya itu. I kata tak apa mamat tu bukan sengaja pun. Husband I cakap, bukan sengaja pun mana boleh dia buat I sakit….porahlah wakaka..konon nak ambik ati I. Dia pun urut-urut and tiup-tiup tangan I, wakaka.. wah..boleh tahan lakonan you eh? Siap buat muka merdu senget-senget kepala lagi..haha. Oh yeah, tau tak masa bergambar-gambar dengan patung nie, I rasa semacam je sebab rasa macam patung tu hidup je. Berderau jantung I bila bergambar rapat-rapat, maybe sebab banyak setan bertenggek kot. My photo was taken at the oval room with patung Obama by the professional photographer kat situ. Mula-mula I tak nak but husband I pujuk-pujuk. I kata, I don’t like him and their country’s policy. Husband I kata tak apa.

(Brad and Angie kirim salam, wah.. panggil nama on first name basis wakaka..)

(How can I not taking photo with my Idol.  Love her so much sampai bila-bila)

(Abang Johnny Depp, mintak my number lepas ambik gambar dengan dia hehe...)

(Uncle Bruce Lee, ajar I bunga silat karate)

(Aunty Audrey belanja I minum coffee)

(Sedih bergambar dengan akak Anita Moi, teringat documentary biography dia dulu)

(Cantikkan view?  Next time kalau datang lagi, I nak pegi during nightime)

(Senyuman dalam kerutan kepanasan)

(Me and my husband tulis kat card love nie lepas tu gantung kat sini)

Lepas puas bergambar, we went to their souvenir shop, bought a few stuff and collected the photo that was taken by the photographer Madame Tussauds, the one with Jackie Chan and Oval Room Obama (mahal la), kita orang terus ke The Peak yang paling atas sekali, called Sky Terrace. You have a choice to either bought yang ke Sky Terrace or just half way je. Masa sampai kat entrance tu, mula-mula we were given a headphone with the information but I decided to not to use it after a few second. I just want to see the view and feel the moment. I will read about it at the pamphlet later. Oh my, the view is so beautiful. I was so excited and happy. Wish list, tick! Tercapai la juga impian ini. Kita orang pun snap gambar merata-rata but the weather was so hot. I know, I kept on saying it, really, panas nak mampus. I cakap dengan husband I, by the time balik Bangkok, for sure kita akan gelap nih. Then husband I mintak photographer The Peak ambik gambar both of us. Lepas puas berada di atas a while we decided to go down. Beli a few souvenirs at the shop and collected our photos. Our photos are so beautiful, we chose two, pricy but worth it, cantikkkk, I suka.

 (Bank of China)

Then we went to the ground level and I had some dessert. Husband I tak nak, then we went to queue untuk turun bawah. Tak lama kemudian tram pun datang, nasib baik queue tak berapa panjang. Naik turun tram nie tak lama, roughly dalam 10 minutes aje. Sampai bawah, kita orang cari taxi stand tapi tak jumpa. I told my husband, kita mana yang ramai orang pegi and I’m sure we will find the MTR station, mesti ada kat signboard. Dalam jalan-jalan tu I terjumpa dengan one of the popular and famous landmark Bank of China. I was so excited because from the first day I menjejaki kaki ke Hong Kong, I dah bercita-cita nak ambik gambar building nie. Each time naik taxi and whenever we go, mesti I ternampak this building. I cakap kat husband I kalau boleh I nak datang dekat-dekat and here it is, in front of my eyes. The reason why I was so sibuk-sibuk pasal this building, you know dulu-dulu kalau I tengok filem Hong Kong, mesti ada je building nie and also bila on je CNN Business Asia or World News Asia mesti building nie ada. Maka banyaklah gambar yang I and my husband ambik. I am so happy, tercapai la sudah impian I yang ini juga.

(International Model dengan pose senget, sudah pasti)

Sampai kat MTR kita orang tanya guard kat situ mana satu line train untuk ke Tsim Sha Tsui, Hanoi Road. Dalam train, I pun sibuklah suruh husband I ambik gambar I. International model on the go la katakan wakaka.. Sampai kat our stop, both of us tercari-cari jalan bawah tanah ke Hanoi Road nie, I kata kat husband I, don’t worry, sure jumpa, just follow me. I kan bab-bab jalan nie I memang confident je walau I tak sure and I tak segan tanya anybody around me unlike husband I yang slow bertindak (ambik kau tijah bertindak lagi hehe..). Husband I panggil I map bergerak. We decided to decided to go to the New Istanbul untuk tapau balik ke hotel.

Sekian catatan I kali ini….
