I ke BookFest

About a month ago, I’d read somewhere that, there would be somekind of book sale ke apa, I totally forgotten about it until I went to Popular and bought Khairi’s book and mine too. Itupun I tak perasan lagi until I went back and masa nak buang plastic Popular I tengok eh kat plastic bag ada tulis BookFest kat KLCC Convention Centre from 3rd to 11th August. Wah, nie kena pegi but I was worried that it might be macam yang I pegi kat PWTC dulu. Boring sebab banyak novel-novel melayu, majalah dan buku-buku untuk student/universiti etc. I have nothing against novel-novel melayu nie but 90% of the books are so... how should I put it.....rasa macam sick aje bila I baca sebab penuh dengan mengada-ngadanya, ditambah dengan khayalan yang tak logiknya, especially novel-novel cinta, sangatlah puiknya... Baca separuh jalan terus I pissed off. Having said that, not all of novel malay nie suck because ada yang bagus jugak, although percentage nya sangat la rendah and in my case you know who’s my favourites malay’s author kan.

Anyway, dari malam hingga ke pagi, I berkira-kira nak pegi ke tak nak, part of me said yes and another part of me kata tak payah. Pagi-pagi lagi I dah bangun, it is not like me to wake up early, lepas bangun solat subuh I akan tidur balik sampai pukul 11am. But pagi nie pukul 8am I dah bangun then I teringat akan bookfest nie, I kata tak apa let me think about it. I decided to buat breakfast (hapa? Breakfast?, when was the last time I had breakfast, seems like a hundred years ago...alahai ayat). Tengah I menyediakan bahan-bahan nak mengoreng nasi nie, I nampak neighbour I kat dapur, I panggil dia and bagitau dia pasal bookFest kat KLCC Convention Centre nie, dia kata dia pernah pegi, sangat bagus and I can get good bargain/price and nak masuk harga ticket pun tak mahal. Wah, terus I tetapkan hati nak pegi.

Bila husband I nak keluar beli paper, I cakap, I nak pegi, husband I kata ok, dia balik beli paper nanti terus pegi. I pun siap-siap and rebus telur lagi, itu wajib sebab mana la tau kebulur ke nanti, (seriously?) and ofcourse satu botol air putih. Husband I cakap, macam budak kecik siap bawak bekal, kang I bawak pampers orang tua-tua nanti, siapa nak jawab? Wakaka...sadis. Kita orang keluar rumah around 12pm and park kat KLCC. Orang sangat ramai, memandangkan last day and weekend pulak tu and kebanyakkanya berbangsa cina, almost 100%, bangsa-bangsa lain melayu and india boleh di hitung dengan jari. Bayaran masuk RM2.50 per person and kena pakai gelang tag, rasa macam pegi theme park. Bila masuk aje, I tengok harga buku, wah, it was a great deal, sangat murah dan banyak variety. Apa lagi rambang mata I. I suruh husband I ambik bakul, mula-mula dia kata tak payah la leceh, I kata tak apa, kalau dia tak nak bawak nanti I bawak, terus la husband I angkat, physcology you. Dan seperti biasa husband I ikut je mana-mana I pegi, I suruh dia pegi tempat lain dia tak nak, kejap je dia hilang dari pandangan mata I tapi lepas tu I tengok dia terjengau-jengau cari I, rasa macam nak sembunyik aje biar dia suspense. Oh yeah, I whatsapp Aida and bagitau dia pasal bookfest nie, then dia called kata dia baru balik dari Johor, kalau tak mesti dia akan pegi.

This time I tak beli banyak buku and a abit choosy memandangkan buku-buku yang beli dulu-dulu masih banyak dan tak baca-baca lagi sampai sekarang. Buku resepi pun I tak beli banyak. While browsing around, I tengok ada one book husband I sembunyi kat belakang badan dia, I don’t take it seriously or even ask because lambat laun pun I akan tau jugak. Then husband I pegi bayar, after that we went to another hall and I was wondering what kind of a book yang ada kat sini, kat situ tulis chinese book tapi I yang curious dan gatal hati decided to check it out la jugak. I masuk dalam, sudah! Semua tulisan berbahasa cina, puas la I menapak cari exit. I cakap dengan husband I suruh tunggu kat tempat yang dia tunggu sebab I akan pegi kat dia and that I nak pegi another section. Lepas jumpa dia balik, I cakap I nak pegi level 3, I pegi kat counter and tanya orang kat situ apa yang ada kat level 3 nie and how to get there, orang tu cakap, tempat CD’s, stationaries and all. Husband I kata dia tak nak ikut. Bila I masuk lift aje, tiba-tiba I tengok husband I dah masuk..hehe..mana boleh jauh kesuma jiwa dia nie.. I cakap, eh, ikut jugak, dia senyum-senyum je.

Sampai kat level 3, kita orang check-check benda kat dalam and I tengok husband I melekat kat one of the section. Section apa lagi kalau bukan model kereta/vehicles etc. I tengok, husband I macam pikir-pikir nak beli ke tak, I cakap let me buy for you for our advance wedding anniversary. Dia kata tak apa, I ada duit ke, bazir etc..I kata don’t worry, I memang nak belikan dia present (senang, ringkas and at least I know what he likes kan, sungguh la tak romantiknya). Penjual cina tu tanya raya kat mana and panggil husband I pakcik..wakaka..nak tegelak I sebab sepanjang-panjang hidup I, tak pernah pun I dengar orang luar panggil husband I pakcik selain dari anak-anak buah sebab selalunya orang luar panggil dia abang..nampak sangatlah kita orang nie dah berusia.

After that, we decided to go back to KLCC and have our late lunch dalam pukul 3.30pm. Sepanjang-panjang jalan tu I kejap-kejap panggil husband I pakcik this pakcik that. Lepas makan, kita orang terus balik rumah. Sampai rumah, husband I suruh bukak plastic bag sambil tersenyum simpul, I buat-buat kata why (so full with kepura-puraan) I dah tau mesti ada surprise. Bila I bukak aje, eh, ada satu buku resepi yang bukan I ambik or pilih. Baru I teringat it was a book yang dia sembunyikan kat belakang badan dia tadi. Dia kata, that is his anniversary present to me too, title “the food of france – a journey for food lovers”, wah.. I tak pernah ada french cook book, oh, this is so exciting, I can’t wait to try or should I say, when will I give it a try...

Then I tak puas hati, I tanya, betul ke you belikan I buku nie as our annivesary or you just ikut I sebab I dah belikan you that bus model, dia kata, dia memang dah terpikir tapi I dah cakap dulu. I kata ye ke? Demi Allah? Husband I cakap, Demi Allah, alahai... macam budak-budak je.. Then I cakap, wah, we have the same thinking...... husband I cakap, yes...

Sekian catatan I kali ini....

Update Sekali Harung....

Friday

(Husband I, Khairul and Shida)

(Update kali nie adalah sekali harung sebab I sangat-sangat busy dua tiga hari nih..I wish I can write in detail sebab banyak adegan kelakar....)

Hallooo... last Friday, we went out with the pengantin baru to watch a movie "Hobbit" at GSC Pavillion. That was my first time sebab selalunya tengok kat TGV. Khairul booked through online. Anyway, kita orang makan kat foodcourt aje and lepas makan I decided to buy a two slices of cake, one for me and one for Shida. Itu maknanya I dah suka kat orang tu, walau sekadar membelikan sekalipun. Movie start at 9.40pm, so kita orang ambik peluang berpecah and menerewang sekejap sementara tunggu nak masuk panggung.. I was sort of worried that we might be sitting with orang bodoh kaki bercakap but was so glad that kita orang duduk yang double seat tepi sekali. Dorang kat depan, kita orang kat belakang. Ada la jugak I terdengar orang cakap-cakap non-stop but it was far from us... thanks God.  Oh and the seat was so comfortable and besar..tak macam kat panggung yang satu lagi (tanpa menamakan tempat itu kerana tidak mau kena sue wakaka..) yang kecik, sempit dan belakang seat yang rendah itu.....

Oh yeah...best jugak cerita nie, although it was a bit slow in the beginning. Biasalah movie pengenalan is always like that. Habis show, we went back to our car and on the way turun escalator, I tengok ramainya manusia macam kecoh-kecoh je, rupa-rupannya ada acara berdansa kat dalam club...ceh la sangatkan... Muka-muka dan perangai kat dalam tu macam orang baru lepas kena pulas je wakaka....

Saturday

Yesterday we went to have our lunch at Sushi King. Lama dah tak makan kat situ or even makan makanan jepun nih... Rasa sedap la pulak. Then we went to KLCC to look for my new *batuk-batuk manja* samsung galaxy note II punya cover and aslo to put a screen protector. Kisahnya begini, last Friday, husband I balik lunch and cakap kat I, dia ndak handphone I, dengan muka penuh serious, I tanya kenapa, dia kata dia ndak saje je. I kata ok but dalam hati nie mesti dia ada belikan I hp baru. Lepas tu I pegi atas meja makan ada satu bungkusan plastic hitam, I tengok dia and dia senyum-senyum and cakap kat I, its for you. Wah... I sungguh gembira, ofcourse la takan sedih kan. So I pun sibuk la set up, transfer whatever it is/was. To me tak ada bezanya dari hp lama note I, I, cuma nampak slick sikit la note II nie...

Anyway, ramainya orang kat KLCC semalam, ada some kind of function etc kat fountain kat luar. And also ramai budak-budak dress up macam komik kartun jepun, kawai etc.. seronok jugak tengok akan kepelbagaian itu. Husband I suruh pegi ambik gambar tapi I malas la pulak. On the way back, we decided to do some groceries for the tetamu that will come during xmas holiday nanti.. Wo and family la..bercuti kat rumah I...

Sunday

We were so busy this morning clearing one of the room for Wo's and family who will come tomorrow and spend a few nights at our house. Mula-mula husband I suggest kemas masa balik but I kata baik la kemas pagi-pagi so that bila balik dah penat nanti. Anyway, today is the last day of Big Bad Wolf Sale so we decided to come again for the very last time. I whatsapp Aida, one of our anak buah to join us. Dia tak berapa sihat ada demam-demam sikit, I rasa guilty la pulak sebab ajak dia but I was so glad that she could make it. Husband dia tak ada, main golf, Arina and Syahmi kat rumah nenek and datuk dorang. Lepas ambik dia, Aida suggested that we have our lunch at Restaurant Ratu (makanan padang). The food was ok and simple je, I have no complain. Kita orang tinggalkan kereta kat rumah Aida and naik kereta dia, it was so comfortable berbanding dengan kereta hazab calar balar and nak roboh kita orang tu. Sampai kat Mines, berderet kereta nak masuk parking.

Masuk dalam convention centre, wah...ramainya orang. Aida terus hilang ke mana and seperti biasa husband I yang tak boleh berenggang itu sentiasa di sisi I dengan beg recycle hitam beliau. I tak beli buku untuk baca instead I beli banyak buku-buku resepi. Dari haritu lagi I dah aim nak beli on the last day. Husband I banyak beli buku for himself, not for reading, you know husband I bukan suka baca buku but dia beli buku pasal keretapi etc.. Dia suggest a few books for me to read, I kata I dah banyak beli and kalau dia jumpa apa-apa yang bagus, dia ambik aje. Bila husband I dah ambik a few, he showed it to me, I kata ok sambil lalu because I was so busy belek-belek buku resepi. After I done with my recipe book shopping, we went to look for Aiza's (Aida's younger sister) kindie books for her school. I ada sms dia ajak join sekali tapi dia kata dia tak ada duit and mintak sponsor. I kata no probs. Buku budak-budak pun tak mahal we managed to get as cheap as RM2.00 to RM3.00 and paling mahal RM8.00 with the help from Aida.

On the way nak ke cashier sempat lagi I grab a few buku resepi lepas belek-belek sekilas lalu. Then I bought one hardcover book for me and Aida. Haritu I dah belikan dia but I just feel that I want to buy another one for her. She is such a nice niece, matured and responsible one. Bila dia complained pasal one of our family member, kadang-kadang geli hati I because me and my husband still think of her as a kid... Yela kan dari kecik dah dengan dia and kenal dia...

Anyway, I was so happy today as I managed to get which book that I want. Lepas hantar Aida balik rumah, lepak kejap kat rumah dia and then we went to WW to buy a few groceries yang lupa nak beli semalam and tapau some food.

Sekian catatan wanita yang rasa sungguh "bersalah" kerana update tanpa sepenuh perasaan dan secara terperinci, tapi nak jugak update sebab nanti tak ingat and malas di kemudian hari...

Update

Last Saturday I masih mengalami cir bir but it was not as bad as Friday (my husband bought a medicine from pharmacy as the one that I took from the doctor was not working at all). I cuma cir bir 4 kali aje, pagi semalam sekali and today belum lagi. I hope it would go soon. That night (Saturday) when I took my bath I was so shocked to see that my stomach was full of this red rashes like ruam panas and mengerutu. I quickly took my bath and told my husband. And mula la I surfed internet nak tau apakah puncanya. Other part of my body tak ada except for kat stomach aje. Mula la I ingat I kena denggi la, ini la itu la, tiba-tiba rasa sesak nafas la, rasa macam nak pengsan la, ingat dah nak mati la, that it is going to be my last night in this world. Oh dear.. husband I sibuk la call Glenegales enquiry this and that… Mula-mula ingat nak pegi malam tu jugak but we decided to wait until tomorrow morning kalau rashes tak turun-turun. Sungguh dramatic kami laki bini nie. Then malam tu I tak dapat tidur sampai ke pagi. Macam-macam dalam pikiran. Kejap-kejap I check my perut, hati bedebar-debar la pulak kan.. adeeihh hai.. Kalau nak kata vicks, each time I kembung perut memang sapu ubat tu aje. We thought, it was either the medicine from the pharmacy or it could be the chicken soup that I made sebab makan panas-panas ke apa, but our strongest guess was the pills. Sebabkan selama nie makan chicken soup and letak vicks tak ada apa-apa pun..entahlah..

I was so happy and glad that Hazama won last night (macam la vote kan). He deserved it! It was worth the wait although it took him five years to do so. The final four was not his match. Beside, only a few aje penyanyi AF yang betul-betul berkualiti. I do hope dia tak tengelam like kebanyakkan juara AF before him. Alahai, cakap berapi-api, macam la I vote all this while. But I have to admit I did, err.. fall for the trap of voting them but only on 1st and 2nd AF. I repeat ONLY 1st and 2nd AF.

So this few days, I masak makanan macam kat hospital, which I cook style kukus, soup or goreng tapi langsung tak pedas. I hate it because it was tasteless but I have no choice. I makan pun tak banyak. Husband I beli roti lekat dinding and I cicah sekali je kat kuah dal and the rest of it I makan kosong je. But I memang serik, I tak nak lagi makan makanan yang ada cili padi ke api ke..no way. But semalam I masak sambal udang untuk husband I, I makan 3 ketul aje, itupun I asingkan sambalnya. Hari nie I tak ada mood and malas sangat nak masak but I have no choice, nak suruh husband I beli kat luar, I takut tersalah makan. So I masak ikan kukus masak kari, tapi tak pedas and I goreng mee hoon tanpa cili giling. I makan nasi putih sikit and mee hoon sikit, as for ikan, I asingkan kuah kari bila I nak makan. Kesiankan I. Husband I belasah dengan sepenuh hati..dia kata sedapnya tapi I kata I buat yang simple and resepi I hentam aje. Dia kata itu yang sedap. I lupa nak ambik gambar.

Like I said, hari nie I tak ada mood. Bukan la mood tak bagus, tapi just tak ada mood. Dalam tak ada mood tu, so far I dah basuh two round of baju-baju kat washing machine and habis semua newspaper I baca hari nie in between that sempat lagi I tengok movie kat HBO. Selalunya, it took me a week to finish reading all of it.

Speaking about reading, I just finished with “Cinta Sufi” by Ramlee Awang Murshid. I never thought that I would “fall in love” with malay novel and top of it baca sampai habis. If not because of Pump, Fiez and Rizz, I don’t think so that I would ever read one. From his novel Bagaikan Puteri, terus I cari Cinta Sang Ratu, Hijab Sang Pencinta, Cinta Sufi and now I just started reading his latest, Sutera Bidadari. All the above title is a kesinambungan from his Bagaikan Puteri. You should read all of his book starting from the first one (mengikut turutan) in order to understand the rest. Percayalah you would hook to it as much as I do and wanting to know more. But in between Sutera Bidadari, I baca jugak non-fiction/true crime (kira selang seli) as I don’t want to get bored by reading malay novel je kan.

So I guess, nie je dulu cerita boring I and thank you for spending your time reading my not so cool life hehe..

Note : I missssss going out and taking photograph...

If You Could See Me Now - Cecelia Ahern

Buku nie best giler, highly recommended, bestttt..I tak tau macam mana nak describe..korang baca la sendiri sebabkan kalau I bagitau nanti tak ada element of surprise.. Heart wrenching laa.. the way and as usual Ceceila nie pandai betul bermain dengan perasaan kita. Seperti buku beliau yang lepas-lepas, penceritaan yang details and vivid.. Dan seperti biasa, abis baca buku nie seperti menonton sebuah filem romantic comedy, love, sad, happy, crazy.. everything into one and create such a wonderful, breathtakingly beautiful story. You know after you read a good book you will enhale/exhale your breath without realising it? Well..that is my reaction after closing the last page of this book......

A Place Called Here - Cecelia Ahern

I habis baca buku nie about a week ago. I bagi 3 stars out of 5 stars. Pada I buku nie tak berapa best seperti The Gift dari penulis yang sama jugak. Permulaan yang agak membosankan, I sempat lagi baca buku yang lain but I decided to come back to this book and abiskan once and for all. Like I said, buku nie kureng tapi interesting jugak. I think sebab I dah baca karya The Gift dia yang hebat tu kot. Anyway, I malas nak cerita panjang but what I want to tell of you is, buku nie ada macam unsur-unsur di alam bunian la pulak.. yeaaa.. baca la kalau tak caya.

Ok la I cerita sikit, cerita nie mengisahkan Sandy Shortt nie kerja dia cari orang-orang yang hilang. Itupun bermula masa jiran depan rumah dia nama Jenny May-Butler vanished. Jangan tanya I penyakit apa, tak kuasa I nak cari kat internet, korang cari la sendiri... haha.. So sesuai la kerja Sandy nie cari orang hilang.

Tapi dorang tak berjumpaan sebab Sandy tiba-tiba tersesat kat dunia lain. Kat situ orang dia macam kat dunia kita nie.

I guess the element of surprise, magic and mystical makes her writing unbelievable interesting. And also, the family theme that she put in every of her books that I read so far was bloody good.

Me : Ingatkan tak habis buku nie I baca...abis la jugak...and so far kempen one book a month masih berjalan dengan lancar :)

Life On The Refrigerator Door by Alice Kuipers

I bought this book during BBW Sales last month and it cost about RM8.00, worth buying huh? ^^.

I’d read/finished this book in just one day about two days ago. It is a simple book with a few sentences/lines in each page. True to the title, the story revolved around the relationship and the communication between a mother and her daughter, leaving notes to each other on the door of a refrigerator. It was different, unique and interesting book to hold on to. It was the first time that I came upon this kind of genre where everything was written on a notes and became a story.

Example, the mother asked the daughter to buy them an egg, bread, milk etc. Or the daughter (name Claire), asked for an allowance/cash, her key, going out babysit, at her bestfriend's house, what she cooked or that someone/friends called etc.. They fought, the made up, they expressed and professed their feeling to each other. And there’s so much love between them too. I can picture every scenario that took place, especially the one where they sit outside to catch the sun or walk along the river. Anyway, as you read along, you can see how the story would end and where it began. It was very touching but it still fail to make me cry. I guess because I already anticipated how it is going to be. A very good but sad story......

Me : Wohoo, I’m glad that I’m able to reach my target to read one book a month. Well, this is only the first month but I do hope it will carry on.....do I want to call it my new resolution? Not really because I planned for it for quite sometime...

Have a Little Faith - Mitch Albom

My husband bought me this book as a birthday present about a couple months ago. And I abis baca buku nie about 3 weeks ago. So this is the last book that I read for this year.

What can I tell you about this book? Well..not much sebab this is the book yang I tak berapa suka dalam semua buku-buku Mitch Albom yang I ada. This book is more about his relationship with his rabbi and pastor of My Brother’s Keeper. It is also his personal spiritual journey or finding or rediscovering of his belief/religion. But it is more about a story of his rabbi. Lesson yang di ajar... you wouldn’t believe it. No wonder kaum dorang nie pandai-pandai, selain dari pandai memanipulasi segala-gala di dunia nie. I try to keep an open mind about this whole thing, I mengambil langkah neutral dalam pembacaan ini. I ambik dan jadikan panduan apa yang patut. I have to agree with some of what was said but I can’t help being menyampah.

Ok secara ringkasnya kisah nie pasal rabbi dia suruh dia tulis and bagi eulogy (kisah hidup etc.) for his future funeral. So bermula la hubungan antara dua insan nih.... (wah mcm info drama RTM je).

Mitch menulis pasal kisah rabbi dia seolah-olah rabbi dia nie adalah saint. Macam perfect giler. Although banyak pengajaran dapat I perolehi such as hubungan antara manusia dan juga dengan Tuhan. Yang pasti cerita nie biasa-biasa saje dan langsung tak menyedihkan walau I baca review kat paper ada yang kata sedih sampai menangis-nangis.. but untuk orang secengeng I, buku ini tidak bisa menititskan airmata I walau sezarah pun.

The Gifts by Cecelia Ahern

Dalam busy busy ber”farming” dan melakukan segala activity lain sempat lagi I spend a few precious moment with my book. Biar hectic macam mana sekalipun I will try to squeeze some time for it. Tak kira la time membuang ke, pasti ku capai dengan segeranya. So after two weeks, finally habis jugak buku nie I baca. Apa yang boleh I perkatakan... WOW! Ini la buku fiction yang terbaik pernah I baca dalam hidup I. Belum lagi I temui mana-mana buku yang membuatkan I teruja. Mula-mula tu rasa macam tak best je... tapi lepas a few pages... I terus terpaku....Perjalanan cerita yang mempunyai character, Gabe, yang penuh mistery dan terungkai di penghujung cerita. Berbagai bagai conclusion yang cuba I justify.

I menangis teresak-esak towards the end of this book. I ulang balik part-part yang buat airmata I mengalir dengan deras, I nangis lagi. Sedih memang teramat-amat sedih. Bila I teringat balik, I akan jadi sebak. Serious... Olahan dan gambaran yang Cecelia tulis, oh my.. she is so brilliant. Her attention to details is superb! The way she described each and every character was so spot on!

Then lepas abis I baca, I called husband I and bagitau betapa best dan sedihnya I baca buku nie hehehe... Abis I nak share dengan siapa? How I wish ada book club kat sini so that I boleh buat discussion and analyse sama-sama, mesti seronokkan?

Yang pasti you all should read this book, I guarantee sesiapa yang suka baca buku berbentuk begini akan agree dengan I. Oh... sediakan tissue banyak banyak....

An Hour/Seduced By Madness

An Hour To Live, An Hour to Love Author Richard Carlson and Kristine Carlson

Buku nie anak buah I kasi pinjam about a month ago but I didn’t get around to it until last night because I was so busy reading other books (Seduced By Madness). Dia kata baca la, best and touching. So last night I pun baca. Oh... memang best and sangat menyentuh perasaan.

It is a true story, pasal husband dia bagi wife dia a long letter on their eighteenth wedding anniversary. Dalam surat tu, husband dia tanya if you were given an hour to live, Who would you call? What would you say? And Why are you waiting? And husband dia bagitau apa dia akan buat. It was one of the most beautiful love story that I ever read... It was so touching, sincere and pure love. I baca dalam masa sejam aje (buku tak tebal). This book is such an inspiration to me and I'm sure others who read it will feel the same as I do.

Buku nie somewhat memberitahu that material possession, achievement in life is not a goal in life and it meant nothing if you don’t have any love to give/offer...etc... Bende-bende remeh yang sering kita pikiran is not important too.. Ah, banyak manafaat atau kesedaran yang kita perolehi especially perasaan kasih sayang sesama manusia.... Seriously, I look at life differently after reading this book.

Habis aje baca buku nie, immediately I told my husband (as I don’t want to wait), if I have an hour to live, who would I call? I would call you. What would I say? I would say I love you so much and I’m sorry if I ever hurt you all this while. You make me the happiest women alive. You are my heaven and my paradise....and like I told you long time ago and it still stood that loving you is the best thing that ever happened to me.

Then I text/sms my eldest sister, Wo and Mummy. I told both of them that I love and miss them so much. A minute later Mummy replied my sms and said “me too” and she’s out with my cousin and their family. Then I told her to tell my cousins that I send my loving regards to them. A while later I received a phone call from Wo (as her credit is always zero hahaha). We started to talk about how much we love and miss each other. Then we talked about books hahaha... I’m glad I did that and I’m not going to wait if I want to express how much they mean to me anymore.

What are you waiting for?

Seduced by Madness Author Carol Pogash

I finished reading this book last night. It is one of the best or should I say the best true crime story ever written. Carol Pogash wrote brilliantly and her attention to details was so amazing. She successfully brought us the reader, to experience and into the inside of Susan Polk’s mind. I sakit hati betul kat minah tu...

Note : I’m not paid or getting any compensation from the reviewed of the books that I’ve read. All my comment are solely base on my personal view .

Books by Anna Ralph

Akhirnya abis jugak I baca buku “The Floating Island” nie setelah menetap di sebelah bedside I sejak sekian lama. Sebulan lebih I nak abiskan sebab asyik busy nak buat kerja lain and I akan baca bila I ada mood and when I’m free. But I can finish a book in two days kalau angin membaca I datang mengila. Selalunya I baca during pepagi nak moo moo (“membuang”). Secepat kilat I akan menangkap buku I sebelum I terlambat (mesti tak ada yang berani nak pinjam lepas baca statement I nie hahaha...). I takde la moo moo lama, kejap je.

Anyway, back to the book. I tak nak ulas panjang cuma I nak cakap jalan cerita dan cara penulisan Anna Ralph is superb. Before that I dah baca another of her book title “Before I knew Him”. Like I always said, bila I membaca buku yang indah hasil karyanya adalah seperti I menonton sebuah movie yang sungguh mempersonakan. And that is how I felt about both of these books. Kedua-dua buku beliau adalah sangat menarik dan langsung tak membosankan. Berunsur drama yang tidak memberatkan kepala and her english is very simple and easy to understand.

My Birthday Part 1

So today is my birthday.  At this age rasanya sama je, xde ada apa yang berbeza cuma I rasa I'm more mature in handling any kind of ...
