Wesminster, London Eye and Regents Street

Hari nie husband I pagi-pagi pegi cuci baju kat laundry shop sebab baju kita orang bertimbun tak basuh. Pakaian dalam I cuci dalam hotel and I letak kat heater bilik… sekejap je dah kering. Around an hour dia balik kejap and hantar sebakul baju. Ada yang masih basah/lembab and other yang dah kering. I suruh dia make a few run on the dryer section so that cepat kering. While he went back to settle for the next batch. I sibuk la press baju-baju yang lembab, separuh tu I gantung dekat heater and separuh tu I lipat. Bila dia balik with the second and last batch, I was so glad that everything kering nicely. Then dia pegi breakfast, I tak ikut, malas and beside, I tak tau apa nak makan sebab kalau I turun kat restaurant hotel nie pun I cuma dapat makan roti jam/butter aje. But husband I being the “tak nak rugi” walau hanya makan roti jam/butter and air kopi, dia pegi jugak.

While he’s gone, I bersiap mandi and prepare nak keluar, knowing how long it would take me to be ready. Around 10.22am, both of us went to the Great Portland Street to go to Westminster untuk sight seeing. Ramainya pelancong as usual.. lepas puas bertangkap gambar sana sini. We went to London Eye which was just a few hundred meters away. Sampai situ, terus pegi beratur untuk beli ticket. After that, we were taken to watch a 3D movie about London Eye nie before naik London Eye betul-betul. Oh..I must tell you, the 3D movie on London Eye was so amazing.. Ingat kan dorang akan buat cincai-cincai aje but I was wrong. Whatever happened in the 3D movie, happened to us too such as salji turun, kena hujan, kena sembur..memang basah and bersalji la jugak rambut langsuair I nih… wahh…best giler. Orang-orang kat belakang menjerit-jerit tekejut…but I control cool aje tapi sempat la I sibuk nak menangkap burung merpati yang asyik nak attack aje.

Habis show 3D, we went straight away to the real thing. Sebelum naik, all of us kena search macam kat airport, security is a must, bag-bag kena check, arak pun tak boleh bawak naik. Mana la tau kang ada yang mabuk nak buang diri ke or nak pecahkan cermin capsule tu kan. Yes, this is the moment that I’ve been waiting for so long. I memang sungguh teringin nak naik London Eye selepas naik Malaysian Eye yang macam kat fun fair itu. Well.. tak ada la apa sangat kan..tapi best la jugak and banyak la jugak gambar yang I and husband I ambik. Bila dah keluar, kita orang tengok security masuk and check-check siap dengan cermin kecik lagi kat every corner of the capsule to be sure tak ada hidden bomb ke apa. Lepas turun dari London Eye, pegi la ke souvenir shop and beli la barangan sikit-sikit. Tiba-tiba perut I rasa lapar (macam familiar aje ayat nih), since I ada bawak roti jam/butter yang I dah siap-siap buat dari hotel I pun melahap la sikit-sikit (sebelum tu masa kat Tube and Westminster I belasah satu bungkus cherry). Lepas makan roti, tiba-tiba (tiba-tiba lagi) perut I rasa sebu semacam, nak kentut pun ada, doctor dari Chennai nie pun sibuk la kata, kalau makan buah pagi-pagi memang sakit perut la, ini la, itu la, macam-macam theory padayapa.. tu.. lepas tu dia kata butter pun boleh buat sakit perut..tah macam-macam la dia punya analysis.

Then, we decided to go to Rasa Sayang for lunch and beside husband I nak cari kedai toy terbesar kat London name Hamleys (dia check kat internet malam sebelum tu). Resourceful gak orang tua nie. Hari nie kat Rasa Sayang ada slack sikit. Lain yang kita orang mintak, lain pulak yang dapat. Eh, tak baik la kutuk, nobody’s perfect, everynow and then, somebody/someone tend to make mistake somewhere, we’re only human kan… Hari nie I order mee sup since perut I sebu and sendawa semacam. Husband I macam biasa order nasi lemak. Satay kita orang tak order tapi waiter tu pening lalat agaknya, husband I kata its ok and suruh letak je kat meja kita orang. Sedap la satay dia…nasib baik kita orang tawar diri untuk ambik…

Lepas makan, kita orang beli souvenir sikit-sikit and tanya direction to Hamleys. Nun kat Oxford station and then turn to the left and straight ahead on Regents Street. Boleh tahan jugak nak jalan and we’re almost give up until we saw Oxford station. Along the way kat Regents Street, kiri kanan shop branded item yang besar-besar and lebih high end dari kat Oxford Street nih. Kira Oxford Street nie Sg Wang and Regents Street nie Pavillion la, wah.. bukan main lagi dulu kau memuja Oxford Street eh? Sekarang kau lupa diri? Yea..betul. Tekejut la jugak I dengan husband sebab dua kali pegi London, yang ketiga kali nie baru tau Regents Street nie wujud dengan pelbagai branded shop.

We were so happy, sibuk la bersnap sana sini and I managed to grab yet another watch. This time I beli Folli Follie's watch and I beli four straps with a different colours too. It was so beautiful and masa kat KL I selalu tengok but I have no intention of buying since it was quite pricy but since we are in London might as well I grab one sebab ada sale/discount which was not that much, anyway. Then barula terjumpa Hamleys and we bought lots of gifts for the cucus perempuan. As for cucus lelaki ada sorang dua lagi tak beli and a little bit of souvenir lagi.

Then I pujuk husband I beli something for himself. Memula, husband I kata nanti, I kata tak yah nanti-nanti this is the time la kan sebab kalau I bukan main lagi dia pujuk dalam paksa suruh ambik itu dan ini, tapi kalau beli for himself dia tak mo pulak. On the way back, we saw one shop selling jam yang dia dah tengok kat Westfield Shopping Centre brand TW Steel, the day before but at this place ada banyak choice. Since it was not so much as a big shop or branded with specific in one brand so dapat la husband I haggled a few notch down on the price. Habis beli, owner kedai tu bagi lagi dua jam free kat kita orang..wah.. baik budi betul owner berbangsa Turki nih. Dia kata ramai orang Malaysia beli kat dia and dia suka orang Malaysia sebab orang Malaysia, cool, senyap dan baik baik..yeahh.. that's right dia tak tau lagi rimau nie and hero tamil tersohor disebelah itu hehehe... Then we decided to go back by cab aje sebab tak larat..

Sampai hotel husband I keluar kejap beli dinner kat Efes2…
